We made a bunny peep garden for the leftover peeps.
The kids are excited to go find their eggs and baskets. The Easter Bunny came on Saturday this year in an effort to keep Easter Sunday focused on Christ. Not sure if he'll do that in the future or not...
We did plant jellybeans the night before Easter to see if they would grow into lollipops and they did!
The younger kids woke Porter up for the lollipop excitement. He has reached the age where he doesn't like to be woken up. I remember when my mom would tell me to go wake up my brothers and I didn't want to because they were never happy and would often throw a pillow or something at me. Well, to see my own kids react the same way when I tell them to wake up Porter brings back all those memories. When I told Noah to go wake up Porter he said, "No, Logan wake him. Scare me! Porter scare me!" Aww... I know he isn't mean because I've listened by the door to hear what he tells them. I think he just gives off the same energy as a sleeping bear or something and it makes the younger kids on edge. You can tell by this picture he isn't exactly thrilled to be doing this right now. He spent the rest of the morning reading a book that was in his Easter basket and trying to tune out everyone. I'm glad he likes to read. We don't all have to be morning people.
