Making Snowflakes

On Sunday, our activity for the day was to make snowflakes from coffee filters. Wow, this was a HUGE hit with the kids! They didn't just make a few pretty snowflakes, they made a blizzard and it was so much fun! Our house looks more wintery, cozy, and like kids live here, which I think is a good thing. Jared showed the kids some cool tricks like how to make the snowflakes look like smiley faces and such. The pictures are so horribly blurry. I am charging up my new camera as I am typing this. Looking at these pictures I can clearly see my next project MUST be to refinish the kitchen table and chairs. They look so washed out and dated in our new house it really bugs me! Anyway...

Noah didn't really get into cutting up snowflakes, which I expected. He napped through part of it and ate through the rest of it. The important thing is we were all together, right?

Aren't these kids cute? Jessie reminds me so much Larissa here. Once again she is pictured in her Minnie Mouse dress that has been outgrown a couple of years now.

I couldn't get them to all look at me so I think I had them say "Let it snow!" for this picture. I haven't finished decorating my "mantle" and I don't really care! It's because I've been busy doing fun things with these swell folks.
